Marion City Council has a full agenda Monday, March 24.

A wheelchair ramp easement, Tyler Street rezoning, and the vacating of a portion of the north/south alley on Elk Avenue is on the docket.

The Council will also hear the first reading of an ordinance that would seek bids for the roofing of the Marion Senior Center.

Also on the agenda will be an ordinance declaring Council’s support for a senior housing project proposed by Schwab Ventures, discussion of a grant from the Community Housing Improvement Program for low income housing, and bids for the sidewalk and tree removal program.

Council will also discuss purchasing a new street sweeper at the meeting, which begins at 7:30 PM on the second floor of city hall.
