Marion General Hospital’s ultrasound imaging department has been granted accreditation by the American College of Radiology for a period of three years. The department is now accredited for OB, gynecological, general and vascular ultrasound services including peripheral vascular, cerebrovascular and deep abdominal vascular services.
This is the second three-year accreditation that the ultrasound department has been granted within the last 12 months, as they received accreditation from the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography Laboratories (ICAEL) in March 2007 for echocardiography.
