Rahul G. Pandey, M.D., has joined the medical staff of Marion General Hospital as a member of the hospitalist group, Access Medical. The group is comprised of physicians who are internal medicine specialists who care for adult inpatients. They work closely with existing primary care physicians to provide continuous inpatient care and support on an as-needed basis for hospitalized patients.
Dr. Pandey received his medical degree from M.S. University of Baroda, Baroda, India, where he completed his internship and residency. He also completed an internship and residency at John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Chicago, Illinois.
As part of their services, Access Medical physicians provide care for patients without a primary care physician from the emergency department as well as provide care for Center Street Community Clinic patients when they become inpatients.
