Over 800 people attended the 7th annual Job Fair at Tri-Rivers on Thursday.
Tri-Rivers, along with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services and the Chambers of Commerce of Marion, Morrow, Delaware, and Union Counties combined to put on the event which featured 50 businesses.
Organizers labeled the event a success. “We thought last year’s (event) was going to be hard to top but this year’s far surpasses it,” Alice Bailey, the Career Development Coordinator and Chairwoman of the event said.
In the first hour after doors opened at 9 AM, 200 people showed up from as far away as Sandusky.
The total number included over 250 high school seniors.
