Dancers with the Douce Dance Studio recently competed in the Showstopper Dance Competition in Columbus, earning High Gold for their performance.
The ballet group also was named the top overall group, qualifying for the national competition in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina this summer.
The 11-and-under girls danced to “Candle on the Water” at the 30th annual show. The group is directed by Marilyn McBride.
