On Monday at 6:25 p.m. deputies with the Marion County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a robbery at the Speedway Gas Station located at 1603 Harding Highway East.
Upon arrival, detectives obtained a description of the suspect and his vehicle. A deputy on patrol located that vehicle a short time later. The driver, who investigators say is the robbery suspect, was taken to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office for an interview.
Following the interview, deputies arrested 34-year-old Larry Michael Tootle, of 836 East Center Street, Marion. He was taken to the Multi County Correctional Center and is being held on a charge of robbery.
