An alert neighbor resulted in two arrests early Monday morning.
A 9-1-1 call was received by the Marion County Sheriff’s Office at 1:03 AM concerning a burglary at the Prospect Pharmacy. That Samaritan confronted the two men he saw breaking into the store and they fled.
After sheriff’s deputies received a vehicle description, a stop was made on US 23 in Delaware County.
As the driver was being taken into custody, the passenger fled on foot, only to be caught moments later with the help of a K-9 unit.
Arrested were brothers Daniel Wayne Brofford, 50, and Douglas Carl Brofford, 44, both of Grove City.
They were found with several hundred Hydrocodone pills on them.
Formal charges are pending with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office.
