Brandon W. Darling, 25, of 1521 Southland Parkway, Marion appeared in Court Thursday afternoon and pleaded guilty to two counts of trafficking in heroin.
Common Pleas Judge William Finnegan immediately sentenced Darling to 18 months in prison.
Darling was arrested on April 2 by officers from the Marmet Drug Task Force. He has remained in custody since his arrest. He will be transported within the next few days to the Correctional Reception Center in Orient to begin serving his prison term.
Darling sold small amounts of heroin to an undercover operative working under the supervision of task force officers on two occasions in February.
