State Route 309 was closed down for over 4 hours on Wednesday after a semi overturned.
The tanker fell onto its side about 3:30 PM near the intersection of State Route 98 in front of the Marion Industrial Depot.
Firefighters had to cut a hole in the tanker to transfer the soybean oil the tanker was carrying into another truck.
There were no serious injuries in the accident. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is continuing to investigate.
The road reopened just before 8 PM.
