Drug Dealers Sentenced, Forfeit Cash

Prison sentences were imposed and money was forfeited when two Marion men appeared before Common Pleas Judge Robert Davidson for drug trafficking charges Thursday afternoon.

Michael T. Mullins, 26, was sentenced to 17 months in prison for trafficking in marijuana. $9,300 in cash which officers found in his home was forfeited to the MARMET Drug Task Force. Mullins was arrested on January 24th, after selling marijuana for $775 to an undercover operative. Mullins pleaded guilty on April 15th.

Christopher Campbell, 29, of was sentenced to 12 months in prison for trafficking in cocaine. $305 in cash recovered by officers was ordered applied to a court fine. Campbell was arrested by MARMET officers on February 14th after selling crack cocaine for $400 to an undercover operative. Campbell pleaded guilty on April 11th.
