Board Of Elections Seeking PO Box Users

06-19-2008  Article by:

The Marion County Board of Elections is requesting that all registered voters receiving their mail in a post office box to please contact the board of elections at their earliest convenience.

Although registration must be at a physical address the Board also needs the mailing address. Any communication sent to the voters from the Board of Elections is being returned as some villages do not have mail carriers. This may include but is not limited to residents of Caledonia, Green Camp, La Rue, New Bloomington and Prospect.

A notice of election will be mailed in the next few months and before it is mailed the Board is working on updating their files to assure that the voters receive this notice.

You may contact the Board of Elections, Monday thru Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. at 740-223-4090. The Board office is located at 222 West Center St, Marion.
