Marion City Schools dropped to 51%, while Elgin had a 47.9% proficiency in all five tested subjects.
The Ohio Graduation Test measures the level of reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies skills expected of students at the end of the 10th grade. Students take the test for the first time in the spring of their sophomore year. They can then take the test four more times through their senior year.
