The Marion County Council on Aging is currently accepting proposals for senior services in 2009. Complete bid packets, which contain detailed service specifications and other necessary information, is available for all agencies who are interested in applying for funding.
Services to be provided in 2009 include transportation, homemaker, chore, personal care, home-delivered meals, adult day care, and respite.
Funding for these services is made possible through the senior services levy that was approved by marion county voters in 2006.
The deadline to return completed applications is Friday, August 1st, 2008.
