Queen Appointed To Commission

06-26-2008  Article by:

Kimlyn Queen, CRA, MSM, RT(R), CT, MR, director of imaging services for Marion General Hospital, was recently elected to join the Radiology Administration Certification Commission (RACC) for a three-year term as commissioner. The RACC is the governing body responsible for guiding the radiology certification program and establishing requirements, standards, and procedures for CRA certification.

As an advocate of continuing education and lifelong learning, Queen looks forward to using her experience and educational background to serve as part of the RACC. “The more we continue to learn and grow, the stronger we become as professionals,” says Queen, “and the more we have to offer our patients, our organizations, co-workers and our communities.”

Queen earned her CRA (Certified Radiology Administrator) in 2004 and has authored chapters in several AHRA textbooks.
