The City has announced holiday hours for Independence Day.

Sanitation crews will not work on July 4th. Residents who normally have Friday service are asked to have their collections at curbside no later than Monday at 7 AM. Crew will try to pick up both days’ routes on Monday, with any additional collection on Tuesday.

The compost site at 960 W. Center Street will be closed as will the Park Enterprise facility on Herr Road.

The Marion Area Transit buses will not run on Friday and the Marion Senior Center will also be closed.

The Recreation Center will be closed July 4th through the 6th, but Lincoln Park pool is expected to be open from 1 to 7 PM Friday, weather permitting.
