Artwork will be displayed in a gallery-type atmosphere, and all artists are invited to enter. Several categories of art will be judged including painting, drawing, two and three dimensional media.

Entries will be judged on quality, creativity, and appearance. Any original art medium is acceptable, but no kits, bazaar items, or commercial art will be accepted. All work must be framed or ready for exhibition, and must remain on display at the Fine Arts Show for the duration of the Marion Popcorn Festival.

The entry deadline is September 3rd at 7:00 p.m. Artists may enter their work in advance by picking up entry forms at the Marion Chamber of Commerce, by calling Tim Gorenflo at 740/361-0148 after 6:00 p.m., or by logging onto the Festival’s website at www.popcornfestival.com. Artists may also enter at Marion City Hall Wednesday evening between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m. However, absolutely no entries will be accepted after 7:00 p.m. Due to space restrictions, this show must be limited to a maximum of 200 entries.
