Two men arrested in connection to a home invasion have been released from custody without any charges being filed and two more suspects are expected to be released.
Robert Stinson, 20, and Myron Ross, 19, were not formally charged after being arrested last Thursday.
A 17-year-old and a 15-year-old who were also arrested are expected to be released Tuesday.
The arrests came after several tips called into the Marion City Police Department.
The incident came to the police department’s attention after officers who had responded to a different call at Marion General Hospital noticed the 17-year-old female and 18-year-old male being brought into the hospital for treatment.
The female told police the two were at home on Henry Street when four or five black males forced their way into the home, tied up the victims, stole items, and assaulted them.
A 17-year-old female was arrested in connection with the case and charged with obstructing justice.
The investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information is encouraged to call 375-TIPS. You can do so anonymously.
