Senator John McCain stopped in Marion overnight on his way to Lima.

The Arizona Senator, and presumptive Republican candidate for President, parked his campaign bus and spent the night at the Holiday Inn on Marion-Mt. Gilead Road Wednesday evening.

The senator had appeared in a private residence in Dublin, Ohio and was resting up before traveling Thursday to Lima to speak at a town-hall meeting at 11:30 AM.

He was not expected to, nor did he, speak or make a public appearance in Marion Thursday.
