Two teens involved in a Thursday night accident that took the life of a 15-year-old boy have been released from the hospital.
18-year-old Hali Gibson was discharged from Grant Medical Center and Montana Roose, 16, was discharged from Nationwide Children’s.
The Marion Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol believe Gibson attempted to pass a vehicle driven by Hank Williams on Holland Road when she clipped Williams’ vehicle and drove off the left side of the road east of Waterworks Road.
The Gibson car struck a tree and stopped in a field.
Brandon Nelson, 15, was a passenger in the Gibson car. He was flown to Grant Medical Center by helicopter Thursday night, but died around 11 AM Friday morning.
The crash is still under investigation.
