The Legacy Crossing clothing store will collect the non-perishable food items for the Marion Food Pantry.

The drive by Maurice’s comes on the heels of Make-A-Difference Day on October 25th which collected 7 tons of food and over $24,000.

Still, with the loss of jobs, including over 600 at Whirlpool, and increased utility prices, the amount of people turning to food pantries has increased by double at most of the area pantries.
