Police say a suspected drug dealer did not flush the evidence quick enough as the MARMET Drug Task Force served a search warrant and found the suspect attempting to send the evidence through the Marion sewer system.
Chia Brownridge, 23, was arrested on charges of tampering with evidence, possession of drugs, and trafficking.
The search warrant was issued at 653 Bartram Avenue where detectives confiscated 130 grams of cocaine, 12 grams of crack, and 20 Vicodin with a total street value of over $7,500 as well as over $4,000 in cash.
The residence has been under surveillance for a month.
