The public is being invited to attend an Open House at the Marion County Children Services offices on Wednesday, October 14th from 5 PM to 6:30 PM.

Staff members will be on hand to share an explanation of their responsibilities and duties relating to the care and protection of abused, neglected and dependent children in our community.

Senior staff members will make a short presentation on the upcoming reduced 2.12 mill levy, and how the local agency will maintain a high level of child protective services despite their belt-tightening funding strategy.

Anyone interested in learning more about Marion County Children Services is encouraged to attend.

Light refreshments will be served.
