Six items are on the Marion City Council agenda tonight.
All items are new to the agenda.
The parks department is asking for an appropriation that would enable them to refund rental fees already collected.
Refund appropriations are also being sought by EMS.
Two ordinances would allow Service Director Jay Shoup to purchase liquid polymer for the Water Pollution Control Plant and to advertise for bids on a 15-passenger van for use by the Marion Senior Center. Another would allow Shoup to enter into a contract with First Energy on behalf of the Marion Aggregation Program.
An ordinance would also allow Safety Director Tom Robbins to seek bids for the demolition of structures in violation of the Marion City Code.
The council meets in their chambers on the second floor of City Hall at 7:30.
Before the full council meeting, the Municipal Services, Parks, and Recreation committee will meet to amend the description of a clerk job in the utility billing department.
