For the second straight month, Marion County’s unemployment rate has dropped. The rate for September came in at 10.2%, down from 11.3% in July and 10.9% in August.
Crawford County’s rate continued to fall, going from 14.3% to 13.2%, still the 10th worst in the state but continuing a decline.
Morrow County dropped as well to 10.0% as did Wyandot to 11.2%.
Holmes County had the best number in the state at 6.3%. Highland County has the worst at 15.3%.
The state recorded 9.7% unemployment for the month of September.
