The public is invited to join the supporters of the Marion County Children Services levy in a short walk to support the protection of abused & neglected children in Marion County.
The walk will take place on Saturday, October 31st, starting at 9:30 am.
Supporters are asked to meet at 9 am at the starting point, 390 East Center Street.
Supporters will walk behind the Children Services "Big Green Truck" and make a six-tenths of a mile walk to the Marion County Building (222 West Center Street).
Once there, the walk will culminate with a short speech about the reduced levy and how it will save taxpayers money.
The Marion community is encouraged to participate.
