Free Treats Include A Mini-Vacation

10-30-2009  Article by:

Once again, the Citizen’s Police Academy Alumni Association will be passing out candy for Halloween at area schools.

For the second year in a row, Marion’s Community Radio Station, 97.5 WDCM, will join them with their “Hallo-win Card” where one family could win an overnight stay at Cherry Valley Lodge/Coco Key Water Resort in Newark.

The CPAAA will be handing out candy at Grant Middle School, Taft, George Washington, Garfield, and Hayes Elementaries, along with the former site of Oakland Elementary on the corner of Uncapher and Woodrow Avenues.

Along with the candy, the CPAAA will be handing out a card to kids with a word search. Kids who complete the search can send their cards into WDCM by November 12th for their chance to win an overnight stay for 4 at the indoor water park in Newark, Ohio along with 2-day passes.
