The November luncheon meeting for Women’s Business Council will give six local non-profit organizations the opportunity to share information on their causes. The luncheon will be Monday, November 9 at the Country Gatherings, 1775 Marion-Waldo Rd, Marion. The program is slated to start with networking at 11:30 a.m.
In these challenging times, many non-profits are looking for new ways to gain supporters and volunteers. As woman leaders of the Marion community, the Women’s Business Council feels it essential to offer opportunities for the group to learn more about and react to the needs of our community. At this month’s luncheon, WBC member will be able to ask questions, sign up to volunteer, peruse offered information from Marion Red Cross, Turning Point, Marion County United Way, Marion County Boys & Girls Club, Marion Big Brother/Big Sisters and the Marion County Humane Society.
If interested in attending the luncheon, you should make reservations by calling Karen Bateman at 375-3806. The luncheon price will be $12 with the deadline for reservations Thursday, Nov. 5.
