Applications for Christmas Assistance are being taken until November 13th, at The Salvation Army 317 W. Church Street. Applications for assistance will be accepted Monday through Friday from 9:30 to 11 AM and again from 1-3 PM.
Toys or gifts and clothing items for minor children will be distributed in December as well as a Christmas food box for each household.
Those applying must bring photo identification and income verification for each adult in the house and either a birth certificate, social security card, medical card, or school ID for each child.
