The proposed Marion General Hospital lease with the City and County is on Marion City Council’s agenda tonight. The proposed amended lease would see MGH paying $400,000 a year in rent, which the City and County would split, as well as $150,000 to help maintain the Center Street Community Clinic.
Contracts for the purchase of quicklime and the demolition of condemned structures will also be on the docket, as well as the disposing of five city vehicles, the acceptance of land on West Center Street that contains a Marion Power Shovel bucket and historical marker, and the issuing of proclamations.
City Council meets at 7:30 in its chambers on the second floor of City Hall.
