A Marion man has been arrested after a tip led MARMET detectives to a hotel room on State Route 95.
Kenneth F. Maze, 46, was arrested in a hotel room at the America’s Best Value Inn hotel.
Detectives found crystal meth and marijuana as well as $600 in cash on Maze, who was charged with possession of meth, a 3rd degree felony, misdemeanor possession of marijuana, and criminal non-support.
Another tip led detectives to Jesse Salaz, 28, who was on a bench outside McDonalds on North Main Street. Salaz was on parole.
A responding Adult Parole Authority searched Salaz and found heroin and crack cocaine.
Because children were inside the restaurant, Salaz was charged with a 2nd degree felony for possession of heroin and a 3rd degree felony for possession of crack.
Both men were arrested and transported to the Multi-County Corrections Facility.
