Albert L. “Bud” Lamb, 70, lived in Marion.
Date: He passed away Wednesday November 4th, 2009 at his residence.
Personal Information: Albert was born July 27th, 1939 in Marion to the late Al and Fran (Kelley) Lamb. He married Kay Dunn October 8th, 1960. He was a journeyman Carpenter and Millwright and served as Business Representative of both locals before retiring. He was a 50 year member of Local 976 Carpenters and Local 1241 Millwrights. He was a US Army veteran, member of the American Legion Post 584 and the K of C. He enjoyed farming and loved the outdoors and will be missed by all who knew him.
Survived By: Albert’s wife survives him along with one brother: Calvin Lamb, one sister: Sis (Junior) Osborn, two sister-in-laws: Mary Dunn and Jeannie Jones, many other family members, great friends and beloved pets. His son: Steven A. Lamb preceded him in death July 1st, 2009.
Funeral Services: Gunder Hall and Folk Funeral Directors in Marion are handling the arrangements. A funeral mass will be Saturday November 7th, 2009 at noon at St. Mary Church with Father Michael Nimocks as celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery with military honors by the Marion County United Veterans Council. Friends may call Saturday November 7th, 2009 from 11 a.m. until noon at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Marion Area Humane Society.
