Survived By: Dorothy’s three children survive her along with ten grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Her husband: Donald D. Parrott preceded her in death along with her parents Grant and Lana (Grieble) Ballard, three brothers and one great-grandchild.
Funeral Services: Stofcheck-Ballinger Funeral Home, in Richwood, is handling the arrangements. Funeral services will be Monday, May 5th, 2008, at 11 a.m., at the Magnetic Springs United Methodist Church with reverend Stephen Hamby and Pastor Mo Dunn officiating. Friends may call Sunday, May 4th, 2008, from 2 pm. until 6 p.m., at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Donald D. and Dorothy B. Parrott Scholarship Fund, 12920 State Route 39, Richwood, Ohio 43344 which was established in 1998 to award scholarships to North Union and Tri-Rivers students from the North Union School District. To date, 19 scholarships have been awarded, which brought special delight to Dorothy.
