The Jets won their fourth straight Midget Football
Championship, beating the packers 19-0 yesterday. Nico Sansotta accounted for
both Jets touchdowns with Jordan Scott adding a field goal. The Jets end the
season perfect on the year while the Packers finish at 5-1.
The Browns took 3rd place in the league with
a 16-0 victory over the Vikings. The first score came on a fumble recovery in
the end zone while Cameron Friend rumbled in a short touchdown to seal the
victory.
The Dolphins earned 5th place in the league
with a thrilling 16-8 win over the Lions. George Smith scored both touchdowns
for the Dolphins while Bailey Cole hooked up through the air with Chase
Satterfield for the Lions’ lone score.
In the first game of the day, the Saints fell to the
49ers 16-0. Trey Miller scored both 49ers touchdowns, including a 73-yard
rumble for the first score. He later added a 10 yard run.
