MOAC Announces Spring Award Winners

The Mid Ohio Athletic Conference has announced their top players and coaches in the spring sports season.
The Baseball Player of the Year was Taylor Braun of Pleasant. Braun hit .568 with 32 RBI’s, helping the Spartans reach the regional finals.
North Union’s Chad Russell was coach of the year.
The Softball Player of the Year was Ashley Price of North Union. Dawn Draper, also of North Union, was the coach of the year.
Zach Lathrop was the boys’ track athlete of the year. He will try to cap off his season with a state title in the 800 meter run this weekend.
River Valley’s Aric Smith and Lori Parthemore were the boys’ and girls’ coaches of the year, repectively.
Highland’s Kristen Anderson was the female track athlete of the year.
