A former River Valley athlete has earned an honor
bestowed by ESPN.
ESPN The Magazine named Carrie Burggraf an Academic All
District First Team member. The sophomore is a pole vaulter at Austin Peay
State University.
Burggraf has a 4.0 grade point average while holding the
school and Ohio Valley Conference championship records in the pole vault.
Burggraf won the award in district IV. The
district encompasses Division I schools in Alabama, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio,
and Tennessee.
