Quiet is a relative term.
While it's supposed to be quiet in Berea this time of
year -- while players and coaches take a few deserved weeks off before the long,
grueling season ahead -- the gears at Browns Headquarters are still churning.
Last week, the team made several roster moves, signing
offensive lineman Derrick Morse and releasing three undrafted free agents signed
earlier in the year.
Morse, 6-feet-4 and 320 pounds, is a rookie out of Miami
(Fla.), where he started 30 of 41 career games, including each of the team's 24
games in his final two seasons as a Hurricane.
The Browns, meanwhile, waived receiver Nate Hughes,
linebacker Xavier Mitchell and cornerback Darnell Terrell.
