|The Ohio State University at Marion’s French Club, Le Cercle Francais, will present Beats for Budapest, Thursday, January 26, 7:30 p.m. in Morrill Hall Auditorium. This unique concert event will help raise funds for students’ taking part in the campus’s upcoming Central European Study Tour.

Back for a reprise performance of his 2004 visit, this leader of the British invasion is one of the most recognized pop stars from the 1960s.
Palace Holding Auditions for Winter Musical

Director Greg Patterson announces auditions on Wednesday, December 28 and Thursday, December 29 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. for the winter musical "Meet Me in St. Louis.”
Patterson and his artistic team will select a cast of approximately 35-40 people. Those interested in auditioning should come with two practiced pieces of sheet music (an upbeat song and a ballad). A pianist will be provided.
Star Helps Community Celebrate the Season
|The Star Players, Inc. will present their annual Christmas Cabaret, Thursday, December 15, 7 p.m. at the Star Theatre, 121 W. Wyandot Avenue Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
The show brings together local talent, including some Marion residents, performing their favorite traditional Christmas carols, as well as a few unique songs to celebrate the season, all interwoven with the feeling of community and family.

Christmas at the Palace Returns this Weekend

Christmas at the Palace fills the Marion Palace stage with holiday entertainment Friday, December 2 and Saturday, December 3 at 7:30pm and Sunday, December 4 at 2:00pm. The concept originated in 1982 by director Ula Watts. The show is formatted with the intent of bringing a holiday event to the theatre that includes community groups such as choirs, singers, musicians, dancers and more.
University Chorus Holding Free Community Concert

Rhythmic Circus brings their high-energy tap dance and live music show “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now” to the Marion Palace Theatre on Friday, November 18 at 8:00pm. Infusing their unpredictable blend of hard-hitting tap, high-spirited humor, and finger-snapping tunes, Rhythmic Circus satisfies their “rhythmic appetite” on everything from sand to folding chairs, and in one number, they even utilize the technology of electric drum triggers to change the sound of their taps.
