FIRE PREVENTION concerns every citizen of Marion. Loss of life and property can be prevented if you remain alert to conditions which might cause a fire or explosion. Any potential first hazard should be reported immediately to the Fire Inspector at 382-0040.

TICKETS FOR OVERTIME PARKING in metered spaces must be paid at the Police Records Department, 233 West Center Street.

ABANDONED OR UNLICENSED CARS AND TRUCKS are not only unsightly, but can cause a number of hazards.  Complaints involving such vehicles on public or private property should be made to the Police Department, phone 387-2525.

PARKING on unmetered city streets is limited to a maximum of 72 hours. Violations should also be reported to the Police Department.
