MARION CITY PARKS are
operated for the enjoyment of all citizens. Reservations, information and
complaints concerning parks, playgrounds, shelter houses, and park, buildings
are handled by the Park Superintendent, Phone 382-8123, Fourteen parks are
maintained by the Parks Department for use by Marion residents and their guests:
BALDAUF PARK
2 acres - Owens Street. New play structure.
BLAKE STREET PARK
9 acres. Toledo Ave. and Blake St. Playground, 1 basketball court,
storage building.
CHATEAU PARK
9 acres. Bloise Drive. Playground. Volleyball court.
GARFIELD PARK
16 acres - 1290 East Center St. Play structure, basketball court,
softball diamond, 9 horseshoe pits, 1 shelter, new restroom, new service
building.
GLENWOOD PARK
20 acres - South end of Latourette St. Playground, 2 baseball
diamonds, shelter.
KENNEDY PARK
26 acres - 2375 E Harding Hwy. Playground, basketball court, 2 tennis
courts, 1 softball diamond, 1 shelter, restrooms, Senior Center.

LINCOLN PARK
89 acres - 879 Lincoln Park Dr. Play structure, basketball court, 12
baseball diamonds, BFY complex, sledding hill, swimming pool, 5 shelters, park
maintenance shop, new restrooms.
MARTIN LUTHER KING PARK
4 acres - Cass Avenue. Playground, 1 basketball court, 2 shelters,
restroom.
MCKINLEY PARK
23 acres, 1000 McKinley Park Boulevard.
Project playground, basketball court, sand volleyball court, fishing pond, 2
shelters, 1 storage building.
PATTERSON PARK
5 acres. Patterson & Patten Streets. New play structure, 1
shelter, 1 baseball diamond.
QUARRY PARK

ROOSEVELT PARK
3 acres. Bellefontaine Ave. & Sheridan Rd. Playground. 1
basketball court.
SAWYER LUDWIG PARK
110 Acres - 1313 White Oaks Road. Playground, 2 softball
diamonds, 2 shelters, 1 restroom, 6 buildings leased to local service clubs.
VETERANS PARK
12 acres. Delaware Avenue. City park. Improvements through the
Veterans Memorial Park Committee.
