The public is invited to come out and cool off with your family and friends at Canaan UMC on Saturday, August 23, 2014 where you may “Treat Yourself to God’s Word” by enjoying an ice cream sundae. From 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., organizers say you can step on in for some “Scoops of Blessings,” “Sprinkles of Fun” and where every bowl is decorated “With Blessings on Top.”
This year children have a new playground to enjoy and all will be entertained by Simon Avila from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. We have indoor and outdoor seating.
The menu will include homemade chicken and noodles, and Shredded Chicken, plus Hot Dogs and Hamburgers on the grill, Homemade Apple Sauce, Cole Slaw, and Macaroni Salad. Deserts including ice cream, homemade pies and brownies.
The cost is simply a free Will Offering.
