New Fall Classes Set for Arts Palace

The Arts Palace, a visual and performing arts program of the Marion Palace Theatre has announced a new line-up of classes and workshops for the fall quarter.  Registration is underway.

Courses offered for children include: Family Workshop Christmas Ornaments (all ages), Family Workshop Holiday Candies (all ages), Li'l Acting Bugs (ages 6-8 years), Off To A Great ART (ages 6-8 years), Hogwarts in Marion?! (ages 8-12 years), Drama Queens and Drama Kings (ages 9-12 years), Take The ART Approach (ages 9-12 years), Total Teen Drama Scene (ages 13-18 years),Visual ARTs for Teens (ages 13-18 years), The costs for classes range from $10 to $50.

This session also offers teen and adult classes in the following:  Line Dancing for Beginners, Yoga for Beginners, Advanced Yoga, Great Holiday Wines, Pre-Holiday Restorative Yoga Workshop, Quilting Demonstration on Color Selections and Rotary Cutting Techniques. Adult courses are priced from $15 to $35.

The Arts Palace employs instructors who are experienced and enthusiastic and value the importance of sharing the gift of creativity with their students.

"Visual arts, music, literature, dance, and drama, are essential to learning and by giving students the outlet of self-expression, we are setting the stage for a happier more satisfied and successful person." stated Arts Palace Coordinator Lisa Brammer.

Area schools will distribute brochures detailing the fall quarter. They are also available at local businesses, the Marion Public Library, and other regional libraries.
