Marion City Council Committees to Meet Tuesday

Several Marion City Council Committees will meet Tuesday evening to discuss various items, including liquor permit transfers, grants, and changing the personnel policy concerning tobacco use.

Finance Committee meets at 6:30 pm to discuss applying for an ODOT grant for the Marion Area Transit, disposing of six City vehicles no longer in use, and additional appropriations and various transfers.

Municipal Services, Parks & Recreation Committee will meet at 6:40 pm to discuss a change in the personnel policy concerning tobacco use.

Jobs & Economic Development Committee will meet at 6:50 pm to discuss expanding the Community Reinvestment Area within the City of Marion.

Legislation, Codes, and Regulations Committee will meet at 7:00 pm to discuss two liquor permit transfers.

All committees meet on the second floor of City Hall and all meetings are open to the public.
