Free Program Offered to Help Families

Marion County Family and Children First will be holding a Strengthening Families Program for families with children ages 6-10.  Parents/Caregivers and their children will attend seven sessions of family activities focused on building communication.

The sessions will be held at the Salvation Army at 317 W. Church Street from 5:30pm to 8:00pm on October 3rd, 6th, 10th, 13th, 17th, 20th, and 24th.

Dinner will be provided to families attending the session. Free childcare will be provided during the sessions for children who are not between the ages of 6-10.

This program is funded by United Way and is completely free to all participants. Gas card incentives are provided to help families with transportation needs.
