Palace Showing Chipmunks Movie

The family friendly film Alvin and The Chipmunks: Chipwrecked (G) will be shown on January 20, 21, and 22 at the Marion Palace Theatre. Show times are Friday at 7:30 pm and Saturday and Sunday at 2:00 pm and 7:30 pm.

Movies.com describes Alvin and The Chipmunks: Chipwrecked as an animated film starring Dave Seville (Jason Lee) and the Chipmunks (Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney).  Dave, the Chipmunks and the Chipettes are taking a luxury cruise to the International Music Awards. Of course, Alvin cannot resist the urge to create havoc, and the singing rodents soon find themselves marooned on a seemingly deserted island. While Dave and an unlikely ally launch a search, Alvin and company discover that they are not alone on the island, as they first thought. 

Movie tickets at the Marion Palace Theatre are as follows: $4.00 adults, $3.00 seniors ages 62 years and older and $2.00 children ages 12 years and younger.

Concession items are available for patrons: $1.00 candy, $1.50 for drinks and $1.50 for popcorn.

Movie tickets may be purchased at the Palace Theatre door, 276 W. Center St. in downtown Marion forty-five minutes before movie show time. Information for all Palace Theatre movies, shows and tickets is also online at www.marionpalace.org.
