Reward Now $500 for Return of Officer’s Gun
Officers of the Marion Police Department, with the help of public donations, are now offering a $500 reward for the return of a Glock Model 27 .40 cal handgun (similar to the one pictured) that was lost by an officer during a foot pursuit in the 300 block of North Main Street on Monday. The reward was initially offered at $150.
The reward funds are from members of the police department and members of the public who are trying to look out for the safety of Marion citizens.
The original reward was donated from the pockets of officers. No public funds are being used for the reward.
