Forensic Nurse Team Offers Program for Girls

The Forensic Nurse Team at Marion General Hospital is offering a free program, called Transitions, to enable girls and the women in their lives to share information. Offered from 7-8:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 21, in the Crawford Room on the ground floor of the hospital, these nurses will discuss healthy relationships, puberty, and technology.

The program, which will be presented age appropriately, has been designed to provide girls and women with information that will be helpful in keeping them safe and able to enjoy all of the stages that children pass through before reaching adulthood.

Organizers say you can help the girls in your life get the right information by joining them at this program.

For more information, or to register, please contact Darlene Schoonard, Forensic Nurse Team Coordinator, at (740) 383-8677 or email schoond@ohiohealth.com. Seating is limited.
