KidsFest to Include Zoo Animals, Free Activities

Filed Under:

The 13th annual WDCM KidsFest is coming to the Marion Centre Mall on Saturday, February 25, from 10:00am until 5:00pm. The event will feature over 35 booths with kids oriented activities, games, and giveaways. Everything is free for the kids including bounce houses, games and activities, and a day full of entertainment which includes a magic show from Ronald McDonald at 11am and a demonstration that includes animals from the Toledo Zoo at noon.

Families are encouraged to spend the day and especially to be there at 4:30pm when WDCM’s new morning host Scott Spears hosts the “Big Giveaway”, a free drawing for overnight waterpark packages, sports memorabilia and more.

The WDCM Kidsfest at the Marion Centre Mall served as a winter break for kids and families to get out together and enjoy a free day of activities. It has become the largest traffic day at the Marion Centre Mall.

Major sponsors of the event include Marion County Children Services, Tri-Rivers Career Center, McDonalds, Frontier Communications, and Streetwise Motors.

For more information on this family oriented event, call WDCM, 97.5 FM, at 387-WDCM (9326).
