These Marion Technical College graduates are not just good – they are golden. All 22 of the 2015 Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) graduates recently passed the National Board Exam. This puts MTC’s Physical Therapy Assistant program in elite company with a 100% pass rate for the first try.

PTAs provide assistance for patients recovering from illness and injury through treatment plan supervised by a physical therapist. The median annual wage for a physical therapy assistant is $53,000 a year. Job opportunities are expected to increase nationwide through 2022.
The competitive program at MTC attracts students from many parts of the state. For the last five years, graduates of MTC’s PTA program report that 100% have found employment after graduation. The new graduates will be surveyed in the coming year.
