Police make 10 arrests, seize drugs and cash as part of Operation Grinch Round-Up

On December 23, 2015 beginning at 7:00 a.m., Detectives from the METRICH/MARMET Drug Task Force, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, the Marion Police Department and the Bureau of Criminal Investigation and Identification (BCI&I) began a year end operation to round up drug traffickers and others with warrants in the Marion area.

In addition to warrant arrests, two search warrants were served and crack cocaine, heroin and suspected methamphetamine, as well as stolen property, were recovered.

One search warrant was served at 641 Sugar Street early Wednesday morning, executed by the Special Response Team of the Marion Police Department. Inside this residence, Kenny King, age 41 of Marion, was arrested for Trafficking in Crack Cocaine. A small amount of drugs and some stolen property was seized during this arrest.

The other search warrant took place 518 ½ Grant Street Wednesday afternoon. Thaddeus Macon, age 24 of Marion, charged with Trafficking in Heroin, and Stephanie LaFalce, age 20 of Marion, charged with Trafficking in Heroin, were arrested and a small amount of drugs and stolen property was seized during this arrest as well.
