Palace Theatre showing Alvin and the Chipmunks this weekend

The historic Marion Palace Theatre plans to show the new animated adventure/comedy film, ‘Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Trip,’ on February 5, 6 and 7, 2016.

When Alvin, Simon and Theodore are around, there’s plenty of singing and dancing; and usually there’s an abundance of mayhem, mischief and mishaps too. In their latest movie, ‘The Road Chip,’ the three lovable chipmunks again wreak hilarious havoc along with performing some memorable pop-tunes. Their adventures begin when the boys believe manager/guardian David Seville is going to propose to his new girlfriend in Miami…and dump them. They hatch a plan to save themselves not only from loosing Dave but possibly from gaining a horrible stepbrother. With only three days to get to Dave and stop the proposal, they set out on an epic ‘Road Chip.’

‘The Road Chip’ is rated PG for some mild rude humor. Run time 1 hour, 32 minutes. Show times are:

  • Friday, February 5 at 7:30pm
  • Saturday, February 6 at 2pm and 7:30pm
  • Sunday, February 7 at 2pm and 7:30pm

Concessions are available including candy bars for $1 each and 20 oz. Pepsi products, popcorn and boxed theatre candy for $2 each.

Admission prices are $4 for all ages and $2 for current PCAA members presenting a valid membership card. For more information call the Marion Palace Theatre Box Office at 740-383-2101 or visit www.marionpalace.org.
